Officials release autopsy findings on Mishawaka death investigation

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit released preliminary findings on the forensic autopsies that stem from an investigation into a Mishawaka murder-suicide that happened on Thursday.

The autopsies revealed that Brent Gregory died of multiple gunshot wound injuries and Kenneth Hunt died of a single gunshot wound.

Gregory’s death has been ruled a homicide and Hunt’s death has been ruled a suicide.

The official rulings as to the Manner of Death will be made when the results of toxicology studies are completed.

The autopsies were conducted on June 26 in Fort Wayne.
