NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Fighting Irish beat Navy 56-14 on Saturday. Notre Dame took control of this game from the get-go and held Navy to just two touchdowns, compared to the Irish's eight.
Notre Dame is now 5-3 on the season.
The Irish said practice made perfect against Navy. “You practice how you play really and I think we showed that tonight,” said Irish Running Back Cierre Wood.
But the Fighting Irish won’t get too comfortable after this win.
"This was one week and we got it done this week, but we have a game next week, and we got to move forward," said Irish Safety Harrison Smith.
Next week the Irish hit the road for two away games, the first at Wake Forest.
