NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Notre Dame Police Department is investigating a reported rape on campus. In a news release posted to their website, NDPD says the reported sexual assault happened during the afternoon in the Jordan Hall of Science on Tuesday, October 28. This is located just north of the Joyce Center. 

The release states the incident was initially reported to the Office of Institutional Equity. A woman reported she was raped in a bathroom inside Jordan Hall and did not know the man who did it. NDPD says the only description they have is that the perpetrator is male. 

NDPS says they are working with the Office of Institutional Equity on the case.
