Notre Dame guard Olivia Miles enters transfer portal

ABC 57

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ESPN is reporting that Notre Dame guard Olivia Miles has decided to enter the transfer portal, forgoing the WNBA draft, according to their sources.

Miles is the projected No. 2 pick and had previously said she was undecided about entering the draft.

"It just changes every day. I love college. I think I've outgrown it a little bit, though, so that makes my decision tougher to stay. It's comfortable, a place where you have security," Miles said after Notre Dame's Sweet 16 loss Saturday.

ESPN reports Miles is eligible for the draft due to being 22 years old and having been in college for four seasons.

Miles has one year of eligibility remaining since she sat out in 2023-24 after injuring her knee at the end of the 2022-23 regular season.

You can read more about Miles' decision on ESPN's website.
