NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Today was huge for Notre Dame Football as they announced their 2024 recruiting class.
The signees were announced in cinematic fashion once again, with head coach Marcus Freeman comparing all 23 commits to 24K gold.
The signee class includes 19 four-star and five-star recruits, and 15 of the players will graduate early from high school and join the team on campus in January.
"I talked to every single one of them this morning and it's exciting for them, it's exciting for us in terms of what this opportunity truly provides," said Freeman.
Freeman also shared that the best thing to him was zero decommitments in senior seasons.
The prized recruit and longest commitment for the Irish is four-star quarterback CJ Carr from Saline, Mich. Carr is the grandson of former University of Michigan coach, Lloyd Carr.
Freeman credits Carr for keeping the recruit class together.
This Irish class is ranked 8th in the nation according to Rivals, and 10th in the nation according to 247 Sports.
