NILES, Mich. -- Niles Police are investigating two reports of suspicious incidents involving a man in a silver car approaching females. Both incidents happened Wednesday afternoon.
The first incident happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Michigan Street.
A man in his 50s driving a silver vehicle made sexual comments and exposed himself to a 25-year-old woman. When the woman walked away, the car drove off, reports said.
The make of the vehicle and the license plate information is not known.
The second incident happened at 3 p.m. in the 1400 block of Hickory.
A man in his 20s driving a silver vehicle drove alongside an 11-year-old girl, asked if she needed a ride and told her to get into the car, police said.
The girl told the man no.
A passerby realized the girl may need help and assisted her to safety as the vehicle drove away, reports said.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are related.
If you have any information about either of these incidents please contact the Niles Police Detective Bureau at 269-683-0404
