The National Hockey League will again try to save what is left of the hockey season.
Negotiations in the lockout are currently at a standstill.
But a group of players and owners are planning to meet without NHL executives.
All games through Dec. 14 are canceled.
If they can move forward from this planned meeting, then a shortened season could be salvaged for NHL fans.
