Tornado damage remains from July as Elkhart Neighborhood braces...
If summer weather is your thing, then you'll love the forecast for the first few weeks of July. If not, you're going to be waiting quite a while for a pattern change. Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures falling through the 80s and 70s this evening. Overnight lows will dip into the middle to upper 60s across Michiana.
A blocking pattern in the upper levels of the atmosphere will keep the extremely repetitive summer weather in southwestern Michigan and northern Indiana through the holiday weekend. Each day, highs will reach the lower 90s, we'll see mostly/partly sunny skies, and shower chances will remain very low. Our next hope for any rain at all will be on Tuesday, when a few isolated showers or storms could find Michiana again.
Tonight: Clear skies. Low 66.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot. High 91.
Friday: Mostly sunny and hot. High 92.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and hot. High 92.
