TAMPA, Fla. - Five wins down, and one more to go.
After its thrilling win over rival UConn, Notre Dame women's basketball needs just one more victory to capture back-to-back national championships. The Irish could become just the fourth women's basketball program to win consecutive titles, but first they have to get through a talented Baylor squad.
The Bears took down Oregon in Friday's first semifinal, and boast perhaps the only inside presence that can match Notre Dame's in the entire country. Both teams spent significant stretches in the season ranked number one nationally, and both feel confident heading into Sunday's championship game.
In the video above, hear the Irish perspective on the matchup as they turned their attention from UConn to Baylor.
