The Fighting Irish are sparked by South Bend riley alumnus Blake Wesley who brey says has matured beyond his years in not only starting for Notre Dame, but by becoming one of the leading scorers for the Irish.
“We’ve all watched him grow up,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “What’s the stroke going to be like and he’s very confident. Again I really think the shot selection has improved and was better. That’s a key for him.”
ANCHOR TAG: the Fighting Irish look to improve to 8-0 at Purcell Pavilion this season as Notre Dame takes on NC State Wednesday night.
Tipoff is set for 9 p.m.
