All Nations Church hosts Autism Awareness and Advocacy conference

All Nations SDA Church

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- All Nations Adventist Church is hosting Possibilities Day, a free conference on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to honor International Autism Awareness month.

The conference is themed The Reality of Things and includes complimentary lunch and breakfast.

Admission is free to the public, and no prior registration is required.

The conference is designed to equip families, caretakers, educators, policy members, and community members with practical knowledge and resources to support individuals with autism and other disabilities.

Attendees will learn about disability law, workplace and building accommodations, and the nutritional needs and taste preferences of neurodivergent individuals.

"The underlying premise of this year’s 'Reality of Things' theme is that things are not always as they seem," said Dr. Hinds, Events Director at All Nations SDA Church. "Individuals with visible disabilities are not limited in their ability to participate in society, while others without a diagnosis may be navigating hidden challenges."
