Motorcyclist killed in crash on US12

The driver of a motorcycle was killed in an accident on US 12 Thursday afternoon.
Michigan State Police responded to US12 near Sweet Lake Road around 3:30 p.m. to investigate a crash.
Police said a pickup truck was turning north into a driveway when it was struck from behind by a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, 28-year-old Zachariah Himebaugh, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup driver and his passenger were not injured.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
They believe speed was a factor.
