A Michigan City family is the focus of an upcoming season of Military Makeover with Montel on Lifetime.
The show helps a military veteran and their family completely renovate their home with the help of professional designers and a community of volunteers. Military Makeover with Montel will film in Michigan City on June 6-17 while renovating U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Michael Stupar's home.
According to Military Makeover, "Sergeant Michael Stupar's story of serving and protecting his country is one of great courage and bravery. He recently retired in November 2021, ending a 20-year career decorated with numerous awards, medals and commendations."
The upcoming seven-episode season with the Stupar family will premiere August 12 on Lifetime, with the finale scheduled September 23. Military Makeover is unique, in that it enlists the help of friends, family, and community members to help with the project.
Host Montel Williams talks to ABC57 NightTeam anchor Tim Spears about the upcoming season, and why supporting our troops should go beyond lip service.
