Monday morning fire in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Lincoln Charter Township Fire Department reports crews responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of W John Beers Road around 4:52 a.m., Monday.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke showing from the home with flames in a few windows.

The report states the first team of firefighters began fighting the flames, while a second team performed a primary search of the home.

All occupants were able to escape uninjured.

Fire crews had the flames under control within 16 minutes of being dispatched to the home, according to the report.

There's been no reports of firefighters injured.
