Missing, Murder, Witness: The Sandra Powell case

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - For four decades, police and loved ones have searched for answers in the disappearance of 16-year-old Sandra Powell.

On March 11, 1987, Powell needed a ride to a doctor’s appointment. After the appointment, she was dropped back off at her house and never seen again.

Now, 36 years later, investigators have no witnesses or leads in the case.

ABC57 Investigates looks into what led up to Powell’s disappearance and how the community can help police find out what happened.
