Mishawaka’s Merrifield Pool, splash pads to open for 2021 season

MISHAWAKA, Ind.—Mishawaka’s Merrifield Pool and splash pads are preparing to open for the 2021 season.
Mishawaka Parks and Recreation Department said in a Facebook post that splash pads will open starting May 28. Their hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Parks with splash pads include:
- Central Park
- Mary Gibbard Park
- Battell Park
- Rose Park
- Twin Branch Park
Crawford Park’s splash pad will not open this season due to construction.
Merrifield Pool is set to reopen for the season on June 5. Season passes for the pool go on sale May 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Merrifield Complex.
The pool has added new rock walls and a 12-foot zip line.
