Mishawaka Fire Department upgrades life-saving equipment

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Fire Department announced they've upgraded their life-saving equipment to better serve the Mishawaka community.

Officials say all apparatus will be outfitted with Stryker Lifepak 35 cardiac monitors to deliver faster, more accurate pre-hospital care.

MFD officials add that their ambulances have been upgraded with the Stryker Power-PRO 2 and advanced power load systems to provide safety and ease of use for patients and responders.

The department also introduced the Stryker Xpedition Stair Chair to provide smooth, safe, and efficient patient transport in challenging environments.
