The oldest living American added one more candle to her birthday cake.

Jeralean Talley, known as Mother Talley to many friends and family, is now the third-oldest person in the world at 114.

This week, she celebrated the big milestone in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

She says she loved to bowl until she was 101, and she bowled a 200 in her last game.

"I don't have much education but what little sense I got I try to use it," said Talley.

She said she tries to live her life by using common sense and treating others the way she wants to be treated.
