Michigan has 1,396,467 COVID-19 cases, 25,240 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 16,143 new cases* of COVID-19, and 160 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over three days (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 5,381 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 36 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,396,467 COVID-19 cases, 25,240 deaths, 1,146,495 recovered, and 10,731,019 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 21,129 confirmed cases, 335 deaths, 152,303 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 7,393 cases, 100 deaths, 36,372 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  9,186 cases, 128 deaths, 48,752 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 11,201 cases, 175 deaths, 78,946 vaccine doses administered
