Michigan coroner rules Notre Dame alum's death a homicide

TROY, Mich. -- A Michigan coroner ruled the death of a Notre Dame alum a homicide.

The Detroit Free Press reports Patrick Mikes Sr. died after multiple blows to the head. His son, 21-year-old, Patrick Mikes Jr. a Notre Dame senior, is charged with murder in connection with his father's death.

Mikes Sr. disappeared from his home last month. His body was just found Friday.
