Michigan City man sentenced to over 17 years for production of child pornography

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A Michigan City man was sentenced to over 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to production of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Ashley D. Harper, 49, was sentenced to 17 years and six months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.
In July 2021, Harper produced child pornography involving a minor under the age of 12, according to case documents.
