Michigan City man arrested after search of residence turns up child pornography
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- An investigation by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) resulted in a Michigan City man being arrested on charges of Possession of Child Pornography on Thursday.
Authorities say the arrest was the result of an investigation into numerous Cyber Tipline reports sent to the ICAC Task Force from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
"The tips ultimately led to a search warrant being served by the Indiana State Police, with the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations, at a residence located in the 4000 block of Breckenridge Avenue, in Michigan City," ISP said.
As a result of the investigation, 23-year-old Andrew Christian Crouch, of Michigan City was arrested on three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 5 Felony.
Crouch was transported to the LaPorte County Jail and booked into custody.
