Hunters are preparing to hit the woods this weekend here in Michiana. Hunters in Indiana get to hit the woods on Saturday, while hunters in Michigan have to wait till Sunday.
Temperatures on Saturday morning will drop into the upper 20s, so hunters will definitely want to bundle up in layers. Winds will be light with partly cloudy skies. Saturday afternoon temperatures will only warm into the mid 40s due to the added cloud cover. Winds will begin to pick up during the late afternoon and evening. Saturday night a few showers are possible with increasing chances into Sunday morning.
Along with the rain Sunday morning, winds are going to be strong out of the southwest with gusts into the 20s. With the strong winds and actual temperatures Sunday morning in the 40s, feel like temperatures will be in the 30s. Winds will increase throughout the day with gusts hitting the 30s by the evening. Luckily, rain showers will turn isolated and highs will top out in the upper 50s later in the day.
