Menards Mega Store in South Bend officially opens Tuesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A new Menards Mega Store opened its doors to the public on Tuesday. The company says that it is excited to provide South Bend with their unique services, low prices and shopping conveniences.

There was a Menards store formerly located at the Erskine. The new store is located at 4640 South St. Joseph Street.

In a press release, South Bend Menards General manager Laura Schreindl said:

“We are super excited to open a brand new store in South Bend! We appreciate all the support we've received through the years and look forward to serving the community in the new location for years to come."

The new Menards is the largest of its stores in Michiana.  

"People getting used to all the products we carry at our new location," General Manager Laura Schreind said. "Any guest can come in here and shop, whether they need laundry soap, they’re building a new deck, or they need a shed, they can come in and get everything they need for their project.”

Menards is a retailer that provides top-of-the-line products and services for home improvement projects. They sell items such as light bulbs, paint and various building materials.

The official grand opening for the new Menards is set for September 22-28.
