BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- When 10,000 people are on a golf course you need to be prepared for anything.
Wednesday Memorial MedFlight trained with local emergency crews for the upcoming Senior PGA tournament.
The chopper landed on the practice hole at Harbor Shoes Golf Course. Memorial told us there's a different protocol when so many people are around.
"It’s an additional hazard when you bring a helicopter into any type of event especially with the crowds anticipated here, so we wanted to have everyone operating in a safe manner and everyone on the same page,” said Ken Nemes.
MedFlight said this is one of the largest events it’s ever planned for.
