Mayor’s Night Out on May 30 to be held in town hall format
SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Due to a high expected turnout, the Mayor’s Night Out on May 30 will be held in a town hall format.
Residents attending the event featuring Mayor Pete Buttigieg and other city officials will be able to write down their questions upon entry. Questions will then be pulled from a hat and answered on stage.
According to the city, the questions will be screened for political topics or inappropriate content.
Following the town hall, residents will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from the Clerk’s Office and the Common Council.
Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The event on Thursday will be held at the South Bend Civic Theatre, located at 403 N. Main St. from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
