MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A Marshall County man faces multiple charges connected to an alleged battery incident.

47-year-old Kenneth Owens is charged with Domestic Battery in the presence of a minor, Domestic Battery - resulting in moderate bodily injury, Domestic Battery - deadly weapon, Animal Cruelty, and Intimidation with a deadly weapon.

Marshall County Sheriff's Department officials say the incident happened just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26. A person told dispatch that someone was allegedly being hit with a baseball bat. Officials say an investigation indicates Battery happened.
