UPDATE: Marshall County officials discovered two sirens did not activate during Tuesday morning's statewide tornado drill.

The siren in the Plymouth Industrial Park and the one at the Plymouth Motor Speedway failed to alert.

ORIGIGINAL STORY: MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Emergency Management Agency announced its Emergency Operations Center has been activated at a Level IV in preparation of Tuesday's storms.

EMA officials explain Level IV means an incident has or is forecasted to take place and requires conditions to be monitored further.

This will include monitoring radar, communicating with first responders and utility partners, updating the public, and relaying storm reports to the National Weather Service.

More staffing, such as elected officials, department heads, or emergency responders, may be called in to better support operations if conditions worsen.
