MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- Marian High School hosts a World Down Syndrome Awareness Day Walk after school Friday afternoon.
There was participation from students, teachers, and from the community.
The goal was for participants to walk or run around the track to get to 3.21 miles to match the date for World Down Syndrome Day, March 21st.
The walk was aimed to celebrate students with Down Syndrome and promote inclusion and understanding.
