Man pleads guilty to battery on a public safety official

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A man accused of exposing himself in a public park and assaulting a police officer and EMS worker has pleaded guilty, according to court records.

Brian Goforth pleaded guilty to one count of battery against a public safety official, a level 6 felony.

The remaining counts, two counts of intimidation and one count of public nudity, were dismissed.

The plea was taken under advisement until sentencing, which is scheduled for January 8, 2020.
