M-51 single lane closures for highway resurfacing starting May 11

NILES, Mich. – The M-51 highway will have some single lane closures beginning Monday, which could increase travel times in the area. The road between Peavine St. and 9th St. will be affected, without detours.
The construction includes resurfacing, joint repairs, gutter replacement, and sidewalk and ramp upgrades.
The goal is to be finished with the repairs by the end of July.
