Location changed for Pete Buttigieg’s April 14 announcement

SOUTH BEND, Ind.— Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 presidential exploratory committee, Pete For America, has changed the location for his special announcement planned for Sunday, April 14 in South Bend.

The location for the event changed from an outdoor venue to Studebaker Building 84, 635 Lafayette Boulevard because of the weather forecast.

The event is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m.

Even though the announcement is indoors, the campaign is recommending you wear warm clothing and comfortable shoes.

Attendees will be subject to airport style screening. Weapons, signs, flags, sharp objects and liquids are not permitted in the venue.

Parking is available at the Wayne Street garage and Leighton parking garage. ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Studebaker Building 84 main lot.

ABC57 will be live-streaming the event.
