SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Clay High School teacher Derek Albright was awarded a brand-new Jeep Gladiator for sinking a hole-in-one during a golf outing at Juday Creek.
Albright says he approached the shot on the fifteenth hole just like any other he would take when teeing up on the par three.
“Grabbed a 7 iron, didn’t even care, didn’t even think, and just hit it. Went through my normal routine and it took a big bounce, took another little bounce, rolled up about eight feet, broke to the left a little bit, and the rest is history,” said Albright.
Albright is also a high school golf coach.
