MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Resale to the Rescue, a local non-profit and resale shop dedicated to supporting local animal rescue efforts, will host its fifth annual "S/No Balls Dance Party" on Saturday when the organization will its $1 millionth to its animal welfare partners.

The 21 and over event will take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the St. Hedwig Memorial Center in South Bend, and tickets are $20 per person.

Organizers say all proceeds will go toward supporting spay and neuter programs to help combat pet overpopulation in the Michiana area.

The event will feature live music by The Whistle Pigs, a full cash bar, silent auction, t-shirt sales, and food and baked goods available for purchase.

"This is a truly incredible milestone for our organization, our volunteers, and our community," said Ann Rudasics, President of Resale to the Rescue. "In just eight and a half years, thanks to the generosity of our donors, shoppers, and volunteers, we’ve turned gently used treasures into life-saving dollars. Every item donated and every purchase made has helped us save lives, reduce pet overpopulation, and support our local rescues in ways we never could have imagined when we opened our doors in 2016."

The non-profit's animal welfare partners include:

• Frantz Fund – Providing spay/neuter and vaccination assistance for low-income families.
