Local health organization and food bank partner to host mobile food pantry Friday
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Saint Joseph Community Health and Well-Being partners with the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and Trinity Health to host a mobile food pantry on Friday.
By creating easy access to essential food resources for families in need, the pantry provides support throughout the community during the holiday to help relieve food insecurity during critical times.
"We understand the importance of food security, especially during the holidays," said Latorya Greene, director at SJCHWB.
The SJCHWB's goal is to establish an overall well-being of the communities it serves, pushing the mission to provide support and resources for those in need.
The event will take place at HealthLinc, which is located at 420 W.4th St in Mishawaka, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and participants will receive fresh produce, shelf-stable items, and pantry staples.
