League of Women Voters of Elkhart County hosts discussion panel

GOSHEN, Ind. – The League of Women Voters of Elkhart County will hold an event on September 19 at the Ivy Tech Community Center in Goshen aimed at discussing issues within different communities.

Those who will be participating in the discussion include:

• Dr. Plez Lovelady, President and Founder of Beulah Bible College
• Chris Snyder, Elkhart Police Chief
• Patricia Gorostieta, Representative for Cosecha Indiana
• Samuel Ludwig, former Director of Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative of Elkhart County
• Connie Cairceros, former Director of the Center for Community Justice of Elkhart County

Attendees can expect the participants in the discussion to touch on different topics that relate to local communities, including race relations and ways to improve communication among people who come from different backgrounds.

There will also be refreshments for those who attend.
