LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced there will be lane closures on US 35 between S.R. 39 and US 20 beginning Tuesday for remaining work related to resurfacing.

INDOT notes the work will continue through the end of October.

US 35 will be reduced to one lane where crews are working, with flaggers directing traffic.

Drivers should expect travel delays and consider taking alternate routes.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through work zones.
