Lane closures announced for U.S. 31 in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that daily lane closures on U.S. 31 to the north and south of U.S. 6 will begin Wednesday, March 6 in Marshall County.

INDOT says Mechanically Stabilized Earth retaining wall repair work will be conducted on U.S. 31 at 1st Road (north of U.S. 6) and 3A Road (south of U.S. 6) through mid-April.

Lane closures will be in place during daytime work hours.

Be alert for crews and follow traffic directions carefully. INDOT encourages motorists to slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
