ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- Lake Michigan Catholic Schools are opting out of some fall sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school's athletic director says they will opt out of volleyball, soccer and football.
They said it's the best way to keep students in the classroom, but the decision will be reevaluated if things change.
Students will be able to participate in cross country or tennis. Those are considered low-risk sports with limited physical contact.
