LaGrange woman arrested and charged with child molesting

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- Detectives with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office say they were recently contacted by the FBI with a tip on a possible Sexual Assault and, following an investigation, 29-year-old Hannah Mullett of LaGrange was identified as the suspect.

"Detectives and Officers with the Department of Child Services, conducted an interview with Hannah at her LaGrange address, which resulted in her arrest," authorities say.

According to arrest documents, the victim was under 12 years old. Mullet was arrested on May 3.

Mullet was booked into the LaGrange County Jail on the charge of child molesting, a level 1 felony.

The case is still under investigation.
