LaGrange County Sheriff starts 'Protect our Flag' project for county residents

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- LaGrange County Sheriff Tracy Harker announced he is starting a "Protect our Flag" project, aimed at replacing LaGrange County residents' torn or tattered American flags.

Harker states if you have a worn-out American flag and proof you live in LaGrange County, he will replace your flag at no cost to you.

You're asked to call the LaGrange County Sheriff's Office at 260-463-7491 and let them know you're bringing your old flag to the office.

You will then meet with Harker, receive your new flag, and have your old flag properly retired.

The project it limited to one flag per household.
