La Nia coming to town

MICHIANA  -- You may be feeling a little déjà vu this winter!  NASA forecasters predict this winter will be "very" cold and snowy, a lot like last year.

The reason is La Niña.  It makes weather patterns more extreme.

Right now, officials are not sure if climate change is having an impact.  La Niña events usually occur every three to five years, not back to back.

There is a silver lining.   Experts say this La Niña should be weaker.
