Kids to Parks Day at Hillis Hans Park

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Mishawaka Parks and Rec Department is holding a special event for Kids to Parks Day, a national day focused on outdoor play with the goal of connecting families and kids to their local parks.

The celebration also aims to show families what local parks have to offer.

This year’s Kids to Parks Day is May 18, and the event will be at Hillis Hans Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers say the event will feature games, a scavenger hunt, a cookout, and activities provided by local organizations and community partners.

This is a free event, and organizers encourage the public to get out and play.
