Temperatures peak near 70 degrees today, continuing a quiet stretch that lasts through tomorrow morning. Wednesday starts with temperatures aloft in the mid 60s albeit mostly cloudy in the first half of the day. Conditions begin to deteriorate Wednesday afternoon as widespread rain moves in from the west. Scattered showers will open the night during the evening commute and be followed up by more widespread moderate rain and a few thunderstorms before midnight. A couple storms may be strong with damaging winds being the main concern, but the severe threat is low right now. We'll have more updates regarding Wednesday night later today. After the rain and storms comes a rain/snow mix Thursday morning as temperatures behind the cold front drop near freezing. The mixed precipitation ends quickly and Thursday rounds out mostly clear with temperatures hovering around 40 degrees.
Today: Partly cloudy. High 68.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 52.
Wednesday: Rain. High 67.
Thursday: AM rain/snow. High 40.
