GRANGER, Ind. --The Juday Creek Golf Course is teeing off for the season, while they work to rebuild following a devastating fire that destroyed the Clubhouse last August.
Golfers took advantage of the warm weather this Monday, eager to get back out on the green.
200 showed their support over the weekend and 150 Monday.
The family-built course, that has been a core piece of the community since 1989 was eager to see the faces of costumers new and old as they enter a transitional season!
With a new fleet of carts, after losing more than 60 to the flames, they will continue to work out of the pro shed, and will announce different plans for this summer, and upcoming construction!
"We are finalizing our plans to the clubhouse rebuild. It's gonna be very similar to what it was fresh looking feel and the permitting process is extensive and so that is going to be kind of a hurdle to overcome before we actually get started,” said Michelle Wittig whose parents started the course.
Owners and costumers hope by next year a new and improved clubhouse similar to the original will stand in its place.
