Island Park Trunk or Treat scheduled for October 17

The City of Elkhart’s Trunk or Treat at Island Park will be held on October 17, but there will be a few changes this year.
More than 20 vendors are expected at this year’s event, which runs from noon to 2 p.m.
Parking is available in multiple areas, but you must enter and exit over the Sycamore Street Bridge off Main Street.
Masks will be required while waiting to enter the event until you exit the event. A costume mask does not count as a face mask.
Once at the event, families will be spread out every 6 feet.
There will be costumed vendors and treats for the kids. Many organizations and businesses will be passing out information such as job opportunities, discounts and fliers for upcoming events.
