SOUTH BEND, Ind – The Irish are heavy favorites in the home opener. 29 points to be exact. Where can you place your money to get the best bang for your buck?
It's never easy when you have a team coming off a huge victory on the road. You're expecting the Irish to move with the same sense of urgency against team, that doesn't carry the same amount of talent as A&M but could still be dangerous.
Here's the layout: Notre Dame 27.5 favorites, over/under 44.5, and the money line isn't worthy of attention as the Irish sit at -7000. That is unless you have faith in the Huskies at +2000.
As you look at this game, you have to think outside the box. That's exactly what I did.
Coming in a +628, LeVon's Parlay:
- 1st Q Over 9.5 total points
- 3rd Q Over 9.5 total points
- 4th Q Over 9.5 total points
- Notre Dame total points Over 37.5
- Notre Dame spread 28.5/27.5
Risky? Absolutely. Impossible? Not at all. Head Coach Marcus Freeman has instilled into his team that they treat every game the same. The preparation was just as intense in week two as it was in week one. Players believe in Freeman. They want to run up the score and uphold that #5 ranking.
It could get tricky when the second unit enters the game in the fourth quarter. But if it happens, I expect quarterback Steve Angeli to relish his limited opportunities. Same for the skill positions taking the field with him.
We're in for a long ride. Enjoy and play responsibly.
