LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Multiple overnight lane closures are on the way for I-94 in La Porte County.

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a first round of closures will happen for two evenings on or after the night of August 20.

Overnight closures will happen for four nights starting on or after August 26 for raised pavement installation. I-94 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for this overnight work but will return to three lanes during the daytime.

INDOT encourages drivers to use extra caution during this time.
