UPDATE: Silver Alert for 79-year-old Arthur Heckman has been cancelled

Arthur Heckman / Indiana State Police UPDATE: The Indiana State Police say the Silver Alert for Arthur Heckman has been cancelled.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind -- An Indiana Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for 79-year-old Arthur Heckman who was last seen on Friday, April 12, 2024.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, Heckman is 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 170 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray zip up hoodie, dark blue long underwear and dark brown slippers.
Heckman is missing from Bloomington, Ind., which is 51 miles southwest of Indianapolis. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
