Indiana State Fair bringing 18 days of basketball to 2023 fair

INDIANAPOLIS – Get ready, Hoosiers! The Indiana State Fair is bringing you courtside this summer with its 2023 theme, basketball! Fair officials just announced 18 days' worth of basketball-inspired entertainment for all ages.

This year’s fair is in partnership with Pacers Sports & Entertainment.

“Indiana is truly the state that grew the game, and we are excited to celebrate our unmatched basketball history with Hoosiers this summer at our beloved State Fair,” said Rick Fuson, Pacers Sports & Entertainment Chief Executive Officer.

Below are just some of the experiences fairgoers can enjoy in celebration of the state’s favorite sport:

• HOOPFEST Outdoor Amusement Park
  • Includes a full-size regulation court with tournaments, kids camps, coaches chats and more
• Pacers Sports & Entertainment Immersive Exhibit
• Land of Legends: Indiana’s Basketball Legacy (in partnership with the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame)
• Space Ham: An Augmented Reality Experience
• 1951 Chevy, Gene Hackman’s car from the movie “Hoosiers” on display
• 18 Basketball Stories for 18 days of the Indiana State Fair
